	Daughter of the late Reverend James S. Taylor and Helleen Taylor
	A Graduate of San Francisco State and UC Medical Center of San Francisco

Now President of her own talent/booking agency, known as Marshalen Martin & Associates, booking Gospel and secular artists nationally and internationally, motivational speakers, and also now into concert promotions.

Currently one of the Executive Officers of Detone Productions one of the newest recording companies in the Bay Area.

Has been a professional radio broadcaster since 1980, starting at KEST, San Francisco, KJAM, Pittsburg, CA, KDIA, Oakland CA and presently at KECG in El Cerrito, CA and also has a syndicated Gospel video show (Golden Gospel Music Video) at KSBT, Channel 27 Soul Beat International Network Television & Internet, and co-anchors daily News.

Has recently joined the KDYA 1190AM family the first all Gospel station in Northern California, where she hosts Gospel 1190 am The Light.

Has been a member of the Bay Area Religious Announcers Guild since 1981.

Board Member of Our Family and Friends since 1994.

Has traveled extensively throughout Europe and California as a singer.

Has worked with such artists as Josephine Baker, Johnny Mathis, Bill Cosby, Lola Folana, Al Green, Vesta, BB & CC Winans, Ashford & Simpson, Dione Warwick, Sammy Davis, Jr., Willie, Neil Johnson and the Gospel Keynotes, Williams Brothers, Timothy Wright, Gospel on the Green, Mississippi Mass Choir, Georgia Mass Choir, Hesikaia Walker, Daryl Coley, Bobby Jones, Fred Hammond, Kirk Franklin and The Family.

Has been a stage manager for the following performances: Barbara Davis Modeling School & Agency, Imani Enterprise-Gil Gordon, Black Entrepreneur Showcase, Oakland Convention Center, Black Filmmakers Hall of Fame, Blackwell & Cassey Productions, Arthur Fiedler and The Boston Pops, NBC March of Dimes Telethon, Our Family & Friends Foster Care Services Gospel Musical, Festival at the Lake 1993, 1994, 1995, 1996, 1997., Juneteenth Celebration for Oakland, Mayor Elihu Harris Inauguration, McDonalds Fest, 1990, Black Film Makers, KDIA Anniversary Celebrations at the Lake, Wanda Nero Butler, Gene Viale, Arvis Strickling-Jones, Masonic Auditorium Music of Trinidad, Paramount Theatre Music of Trinidad, Gospel on the Green 1 & 2-Oakland Coliseum.
